I believe that from the above table it is apparent that there is a sizable percentage that does not belong to the ‘winning’ coalition. Prime Minister Morrison should respect the opposition and listen to their arguments without running them down all the time!
In his previous election campaign he, Morrison, did not shy away from bombarding the voters with constant lies. A lot of voters did not mind the lies or maybe even believed them! Their main considerations were probably that a few lies did not matter to them if above all they were provided with a certain security in the economy!
Prime Minister Morrison was not voted back in with a 90% or a hundred % majority. In a democracy the other voters, that did not vote for him, should also count and not be totally ignored!
In Hitler’s Germany and in the GDR no opposition was allowed. Please, let it not come to this in our democracy.
